If you’ve read through some of my site, you might find yourself thinking, ‘Wow, Sean, your stories are incredible, you’re an amazing writer, you give me life and you should start your own religion, I only wish they were longer’ then you’re in luck! It so happens I have written some longer works including the ‘Kill Switch’ series which you can find on Amazon!

‘Slayerz’, it’s America of the not-too-distant future’s favourite bloodsport. Fifteen pairs of criminals taken from either death row or a life sentence enter the arena and only one team leaves. Each team of two are linked together by a device called a ‘kill switch’. If one contestant dies they’ll take the other with them, forcing the pairs of ultra-violent odd couples to work together or perish.

When ex-police detective James Hageman is recruited by the Slayerz’s producers he sees the deadly game as a potential second chance. But paired up with one of the worst serial killers in living memory, James begins to question what the true cost will be if they manage to slaughter their way to the finish line and go free.

Up against hulking Nazis, crazed cannibals, Yakuza assassins and assorted hitmen, lunatics and killers, nothing is for certain or off limits. The only rule is the team that slays together, stays together.

‘You deserve to be here’ says the note Thao Seong finds pinned to his chest when he wakes up on the set of Slayerz. For over ten seasons, Slayerz has been dealing in the very best of death and destruction, and the ratings are higher than ever. But America’s favourite reality TV bloodsport may still have some twists to come!

Thao has no memory of who he is or how he became a Slayerz contestant. He only knows that he must find out what’s really going on behind the scenes of the show. But first, he and his unwilling partner, the ex-military cyborg Layla Jackson, will have to survive fourteen other teams of criminals out for their blood.

Up against human-skinning serial killers, mass-murdering punk rockers, vigilantes, crazy cult leaders, psycho teens, and even worse, Wall St bankers, kill or be killed are the only options! The one rule is the team that slays together, stays together.

Kill Switch: Serial Escalation on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited

Digger Dundee is a former member of the Australian special forces, on the run since an unknown type of mutant got inside his head and forced him to kill several members of his own unit. Haunted by demons, determined to prove himself, and fuelled by hate for mutants and genetically engineered supersoldiers, he’s a perfect Slayerz contestant. America’s favourite bloodsport pits fifteen teams of two against one another in a fight to the death with the catch that if their partner dies, they’ll be killed too.

Naturally, Digger is partnered with a kid who’s meant to represent everything he despises. But Homo Superior No. 11, or Homer, is quiet, unassuming, and seems like a dud in the superpowers department. Is it a misfire on the part of the Slayerz producers, or is Homer more than he seems?

After the disastrous end of last year’s season, the network behind Slayerz are desperate to make sure everything goes right this year. But forces are at work to make sure that doesn’t happen. Either way, they’re going to have to survive Nazi supermen, African warlords, failed science experiments, cage fighters, mercenaries, assassins, terrorists, clones, snipers, hackers, mutant animals, mechs, and more, and the only rule is, the team that slays together, stays together.

Kill Switch: Final Season on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited

Of course, if you’re not yet convinced I do have some short stories that act as prologues for some of the contestants in the Kill Switch novels, so feel free to check them out!

The House That Dali Dawson Built – An introduction, of sorts, to the first Kill Switch’s deuteragonist.

Titama – Backstory for one of the minor characters featured in Kill Switch: Serial Escalation (my personal favourite of the Kill Switch shorts).

Run Rabbit Run – Backstory for another, even more minor character from Kill Switch: Serial Escalation featuring a special guest appearance from another character from the first Kill Switch.

Echo Three – Backstory to one of the characters from Kill Switch: Final Season

Just quietly, if you’ve read this far, a fourth Kill Switch was in the works but I got distracted by all these short stories that keep coming up. If people like the first three books, well, who knows?
